We want everyone to be able to use this site. It was adapted in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
What we did
- A clear heading structure and properly marked page regions (header, navigation, main content, footer).
- Full keyboard navigation, including a "skip to content" link on every page and a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives for images, logos and pictures inside articles. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- Readable fonts that can be enlarged up to 200% in the browser without losing content.
- Labels on every form field, with required fields marked in text.
- Page language (Hebrew or English) and text direction set, so screen readers read correctly.
- A layout that adapts to every screen size, including mobile phones.
- Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting. Nothing on the site flashes or plays by itself.
How the site was tested
In October 2026, every page of the site, in Hebrew and English, was tested with the axe automated checker against WCAG 2.1 level AA, at desktop and phone screen widths. The issues found were fixed. Keyboard navigation was also tested manually in Chrome.
Known limitations
- Some blog articles were written before the current site was built and may contain elements that are not fully accessible. We are improving them gradually.
- Links to external sites (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp) lead to services whose accessibility is the responsibility of their operators.
